Position Overview: 
 
The Service Delivery Engineer will provide technical delivery and support to the company’s clients on a hybrid working basis with travel to client’s sites where required (one day per week on average). This individual will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and wider team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical acumen, experience working within Central Government or CNI environments and familiarity with Windows Server environments. Experience with administering large data sets are a bonus. 

Key Responsibilities: 
 
  • Attend client sites where required to supervise and carry out commissioning activities for our services & solutions. 
  • Work on multiple access control system designs and deployments, supporting user data migration activities, deployment of site encryption keys and ensuring compliance to predefined standards. 
  • Support the Service Delivery Manager in their activities overseeing and, where required, carrying out smartcard personalisation and encoding activities. 
  • Manage and process large client data sets accurately and efficiently whilst providing detailed reports and feedback to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Provide detailed reports on infrastructure changes, service outage or performance degradation. 
  • Assist in client technical discussions, proposals, and the documentation of solution designs. 
  • Communicating with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. 
  • Support with other company or group company activities as required. 
  • Undergo and maintain UK Security Vetting at the level of Security Check (SC) with the potential for Developed Vetting (DV) in the future. 
Your profile
Required Skills: 
 
  • Strong aptitude for technology 
  • Proficiency in processing large data sets using Microsoft Excel 
  • Familiarity with database management 
  • Excellent communication skills 
 
Desirable Skills: 
  • Access Control Systems Configuration: While not essential, experience in configuring physical access control systems is advantageous.
